Del Norte Gun Club is hosting a “Black Rifle” on 9/25/21 instead of a 3 gun match as usual. This will be a rifle only match with steel and paper targets from 1 yard to 150 yards.
Bring your favorite semi-automatic rifle (AR, AK, M1A, FAL) some extra magazines and a minimum of 100 rounds. Bringing extra ammo is highly recommended.
There will be 4 divisions :
– Open – anything goes
– Red dot – one non-magnified optic is allowed, only standard 30 round magazines allowed
iron sights only, only standard 30 round magazines allowed
– Heavy irons – iron sights only, 30 rounds magazine capacity, 308 or 30.06 only.
AR/AK pistols are allowed. PCC’s are also allowed but there will not be a PCC division. Just select the division you’d fit into.
The match will be held in the pistol/IDPA bays. Once you get to the range go right at the junction and head down the hill. Turn right at the bottom of the hill.
No steel core ammo will be allowed (ex. Green tip M855)
We are planning on setting up 3-5 stages depending on registration – if you’re going to shoot the match please don’t wait until the last minute to register so we can plan accordingly..
We could really use some help setting up the day before. Setup is Friday afternoon 9/24/21, starting around 2pm. Please contact threegun@dngcnm.com if you’re available and your match fee will be comped.
